Grandma’s Marathon 40th Anniversary Registration
Initial Price Increase Approaching
Duluth, Minn. – Grandma’s Marathon will remain at the lowest registration cost until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21. In only 21 days, over 4,000 runners have already signed up for the 40th anniversary celebration. The first price increase will raise the cost from $100 to $110, where it will remain until January 1st. (Complete fee structure below.) Runners who register prior to December 31 will also receive a commemorative 40th anniversary jacket free of charge. Entries for the marathon will be taken on a first come, first served basis until registration reaches 8,500 participants.
2016 Grandma’s Marathon Entry Fee Structure
$100 October 1 to October 21 (includes free jacket)
$110 October 22 to December 31 (includes free jacket)
$115 January 1 to March 31 (option to purchase jacket)
$125 April 1 to June 1 (option to purchase jacket)
Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon Lottery Registration
Lottery registration for the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon is open until 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, October 31. The lottery process will randomly select 7,500 participants. Selected participants will be notified via email on November 2.
The entry fee for the 2015 race is $85, charged only to those runners selected in the lottery. The 26th annual Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon is on Saturday, June 18, at 6:15 a.m. and is run on the second half of the Grandma’s Marathon course.
William A. Irvin 5k Update
Limited to the first 2,000 participants, the William A. Irvin 5k is expected to reach capacity before the new year. Registration is open for this 3.1 mile race which will feature a new course and for the first time, all finishers will be awarded a medal.
