Great Grandma’s Challenge
Registration for the “Full” Great Grandma’s Challenge (marathon and 5K) and the “Half” Great Grandma’s Challenge (half marathon and 5K) will opened at 10 a.m. CT on October 1, 2016. Each challenge is limited to the first 500 registrants.
2-Year Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon Guaranteed Entry
Secure yourself an entry into the 2017 and 2018 Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon through this fundraiser for the Young Athletes Foundation (YAF), a Grandma’s Marathon program. Half of the proceeds from each entry ($202.50) directly benefit the YAF, and are tax deductible. Offer is limited to the first 100 registrants.

Saint Fennessy 4K

Details: Get your green on and dash through Hermantown! This zesty 4K brings you right to the party with LIVE music and tasty beverages courtesy of McKenzie’s and Pelican Coffee. All the action happens in Hermantown Square with a beer tent, bonfires, and prizes aplenty!

Details: This 3.1-mile race is run through the heart of Duluth’s historic downtown district and Canal Park. Starting and finishing at the iconic Fitger’s Brewery Complex, the 27th annual Fitger’s 5K is a great way for runners of all abilities to launch their spring training. All finishers receive a long-sleeve, quarter zip tech shirt.
Park Point 5-Miler
Date: July 13, 2017
Details: The Park Point 5-miler – northern Minnesota’s oldest road race – is run along Minnesota Avenue through Duluth’s famous Park Point neighborhood. The 2-mile walk and kids races are held at the end of Park Point near the picnic pavilions. All finishers in the run and walk will receive a commemorative T-shirt, and ribbons will be awarded to youth race participants upon completion of their event.

Registration for the 2017 Minnesota Mile will open in July of 2017.
Details: The Minnesota Mile features five separate divisions—Grandma’s Minnesota Mile (Elite), Duluth Mile (Semi-Elite), All City Mile (Recreational), Wheelchair Race and the Verizon Kids Mile. The Minnesota Mile races are run on a point-to-point course starting near Fitger’s, running through the heart of Downtown Duluth on Superior Street and finishing near the Holiday Center.
