(Duluth, Minn.) Registration for the 19th annual William A. Irvin 5K is now closed, Grandma’s Marathon announced today. The 3.1-mile race, scheduled for Friday, June 15 at 6 p.m., accepted the first 1,900 registrants – an increase of 200 from 2011.
The William A. Irvin 5K starts and finishes alongside the permanently docked William A. Irvin ore boat near the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.
While registration is also closed for the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, spots remain available for the 36th running of Grandma’s Marathon. Registration for the full marathon will close June 1. Both races are set for Saturday, June 16.
