RACE PACKETS: Race packets will be available in Paulucci Hall at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) • 350 Harbor Drive • Duluth, MN during the following days/times:
There is ABSOLUTELY NO race packet pick-up on Saturday morning.
If you do not have your confirmation card, it will be necessary to obtain a replacement confirmation card in the packet pick-up area from a designated race official.
ALL RUNNERS MUST SHOW A PHOTO ID TO PICK UP THEIR RACE PACKET.
Note: Daily parking in the DECC lot costs $5.00. Also, expect traffic delays between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20 during the running of the William A. Irvin 5K.
If you are not able to pick your packet up in person, you have a couple of options:
1. You may have someone else pick up your packet for you by following a few simple steps – complete the RACE PACKET PICK-UP AUTHORIZATION FORM (Click Here for form), and have your “friend” bring the form along with a copy of your photo ID to the designated “Packet Problem Area” at race packet pickup.
2. For $25 ($30 for international) you can have your packet sent to you via UPS a week prior to the race. If you did not already order this when you registered, you can send a check with a note including the address where you want your packet sent (note: UPS does not deliver to P.O. boxes), to: Grandma's Marathon, P.O. Box 16234, Duluth, MN 55816. All requests for this service must be in by May 31, 2014. Please note that if you do register for this service, you will still receive your official confirmation card in the mail.
SWEAT BAGS: You will receive a Grandma's Marathon goodie bag at race packet pickup. This is your sweatbag. A label is provided in your race packet. Please place the label on the bottom right hand corner of the bag.
Your official Grandma's Marathon sweatbag can be dropped off in one of the trucks near the starting gate. The bags will be brought to the finish line where they will be arranged in the front parking lot of Grandma’s Restaurant in lanes according to your race number. Volunteers will be on duty to assist you in locating your bag.
Please do not leave valuables in your bag and make sure it is closed and tied. Race officials are not responsible for any lost items.
