Michelob ULTRA, a product of Anheuser Busch and locally distributed by Superior Beverages, is now in its third year as the official beer of Grandma's Marathon.
Ice cold Michelob ULTRA, Michelob Golden Light, Michelob Amber Bock and a variety of other refreshing Superior Beverages products will be available in the Big Top Tent activity area during Grandma's Marathon weekend.
Grandma’s Marathon is well known for its festival atmosphere before, during and after the race. The crew at Superior Beverages makes sure there are plenty of its products available to quench the thirst of runners, race fans and spectators alike.
The early 21st century saw in the U.S. a demand for diet beer similar to that of the early 1970s, and in 2002 the Michelob line responded with the introduction of Michelob ULTRA, advertised as being low in carbohydrates. Later Michelob ULTRA Amber, a darker, more flavorful beer, was added.
More ULTRA flavors have since been added including ULTRA Lime Cactus, ULTRA Pomegranate Raspberry and ULTRA Tuscan Orange Grapefruit.
