Racecourse Information

The Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon starts just north of Duluth, MN and runs along Scenic Highway 61 and the shores of Lake Superior before taking participants through the heart of downtown Duluth and finishing in historic Canal Park.

After four years of using a modified racecourse due to construction, the 2022 Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon will return to the traditional Superior Street course.

Time Requirement: Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon participants must maintain a 14-minute mile pace, finishing in 3:03:40 or faster. Slower participants will need to move to the side of the course for full marathon safety reasons.

Water & Aid Stations

Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon water and aid stations will be located at Miles 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. Water and Powerade Ion4 (Mountain Berry Blast) will be provided in cups at every station.
