Brisk temperatures and breathtaking colors can mean only one thing — fall has arrived in Minnesota! The 15th Annual Minnesota Mile will take participants on a 1-mile course along the scenic Skyline Parkway, where you can enjoy spectacular views of Lake Superior, the St. Louis River Bay, and Minnesota’s early fall foliage. Take in all the majestic beauty Duluth has to offer in one 5,280-foot loop!
All participants will receive a Minnesota Mile long sleeve shirt.
Net proceeds from the event go to benefit the Young Athletes Foundation (YAF), which was created in 1990 to assist with the promotion and development of healthy and active lifestyles for youth throughout Carlton, Cook, Douglas, Lake, and St. Louis Counties. Since its inception, the YAF has donated more than $1 million to the community’s youth athletic and recreational organizations.
The Minnesota Mile is home to two of the fastest miles ever run in the state of Minnesota.
Ben Blankenship – 3:52.7 (2013)
Gabriele (Anderson) Grunewald – 4:21.3 (2013)
