IMPORTANT: To apply to become a charity runner for Grandma’s Marathon weekend, please contact your charity of choice directly to inquire about available entries, fundraising requirements, etc.
FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENTS
Charity runners commit to fundraising a minimum amount prior to race weekend, as outlined below:
- Grandma’s Marathon — $750
- Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon — $500
- William A. Irvin 5K — $200
The fundraising goal must be reached prior to the date agreed upon between the organization and participant. If the minimum fundraising amount is not met, the remaining balance will be charged to the participant or the entry may be inactivated.
PERKS
In addition to an entry to the Grandma’s Marathon weekend race of their choice, all charity runners will also receive:
- Brave Like Gave merchandisde & Brooks-sponsored running gear
- Dedicated staff to help reach fundraising goals
- Invitations to virtual team pep talks & in-person gathering on race weekend
- Additional perks for participants who surpass their fundraising goals
