Before 2019, Jenny Martin's life was full – running, working, and spending time with her family. Then a rare, life-threatening blood and immune system disorder changed everything.
Thanks to her donor, found through NMDP, Jenny has returned to the life she loves. In June 2026, she participated in the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, where every mile was a reminder of the community that lifted her up.
“I am here today because of others – and doing my part to give back and inspire others is so rewarding! The half marathon gave me an opportunity to do something I enjoy and raise money for an organization that has given so much to me."
