Do you want the ultimate running experienced during Grandma’s Marathon weekend?

Take the Great Grandma’s Challenge!

By participating, you’ll take your weekend experience to a new level with the chance to participate in not just one, but two Grandma’s Marathon weekend events.

The Full Challenge includes the William A. Irvin 5K on Friday and then Grandma’s Marathon on Saturday, while the Half Challenge starts with Friday’s 5K and moves to the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon on Saturday.

It’s time to challenge yourself.

2021 Cancellation Contingency Plan

If COVID-19 conditions do not improve, there’s a chance we will have to cancel the in-person version of the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon for the second year in a row.

If that happens, all participants registered for an in-person race will be automatically switched to the virtual option and receive new instructions for completing their race.

Those registrants will also receive a 40% discount that can be used (3) times over the next (5) years on any Grandma’s Marathon weekend race.

NOTE: Participants registered for a 2021 virtual race DO NOT qualify for the cancellation discount plan.
