ALS Association
The ALS Association is the largest philanthropic funder of ALS research in the world. The Association funds global research collaborations, assists people with ALS and their families through its nationwide network of care and certified clinical care centers, and advocates for better public policies for people with ALS. The ALS Association is working to make ALS a livable disease while urgently searching for new treatments and a cure.

FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENTS
Children’s Minnesota runners commit to fundraising a minimum amount prior to race weekend, as outlined below:
- Grandma’s Marathon — $1000
- Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon — $1000
The fundraising goal must be reached before the runner may register for the race. If the minimum fundraising amount is not met, the remaining balance will be charged to the runner.
ADDITIONAL PERKS
ALS Association charity runners who reach the fundraising minimum will also receive special Team Challenge merchandise and 1:1 fundraising support.
