THE FRONT LINE FOUNDATION
The Front Line Foundation (TFLF) has supported Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, EMTs and members of the National Guardacross Minnesota. We grant financial support to families of first responders who have died in the line of duty, and we provide support to “beyond the call of duty” recipients who are heroically injured in the line of duty.
The Foundation’s mission is to bridge the gap between death and benefits being paid, which can help families with ongoing expenses. TFLF also provides support inthe purchase of tactical equipment for first responders which is not included in department budgets.

IMPORTANT: To apply to become a charity runner for Grandma’s Marathon weekend, please contact your charity of choice directly to inquire about available entries, fundraising requirements, etc.
FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENTS
Charity runners commit to fundraising a minimum amount prior to race weekend, as outlined below:
- Grandma’s Marathon — $500
- Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon — $500
- William A. Irvin 5K — $250
The fundraising goal must be reached prior to the date agreed upon between the organization and participant. If the minimum fundraising amount is not met, the remaining balance will be charged to the participant or the entry may be inactivated.
