NMDP is a global nonprofit leader in cell therapy. Formerly known as Be The Match and the National Marrow Donor Program, NMDP is expanding access to treatment so every patient with a blood cancer or other blood disorder can receive their life-saving cell therapy.

IMPORTANT: To apply to become a charity runner for Grandma’s Marathon weekend, please contact your charity of choice directly to inquire about available entries, fundraising requirements, etc.
FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENTS
Charity runners commit to fundraising a minimum amount prior to race weekend, as outlined below:
- Grandma’s Marathon — $500
- Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon — $500
The fundraising goal must be reached prior to the date agreed upon between the organization and participant. If the minimum fundraising amount is not met, the remaining balance will be charged to the participant or the entry may be inactivated.
PERKS
In addition to an entry to the Grandma’s Marathon weekend race of their choice, all charity runners will also receive:
- Team NMDP running singlet or tech shirt
- Personalized training resources and team-building opportunities with other team members
- Fundraising support, tools, and coaching
